The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating accurate financial/management information on a daily basis to ensure operations have the correct information to drive the business forward. There is also a requirement to ensure the purchase ledger is kept up to date and any queries are dealt with in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and integrity.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Prepare month-end journals, including stock, to assist in preparing month-end accounts.
* Generate daily yield reports in a timely fashion and distribute to operations. Liaising with the factory and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Generate daily labour reports highlighting areas of inefficiency to enable operations to implement tighter labour controls.
* Check weekly shortages report and ensure any missing sales are fully invoiced
* Raise Purchase Orders and resolve any purchase ledger queries as required
* Ensure cases on Dispute Management System are investigated and closed in a timely manner
* Support management meetings by providing KPI metrics
* Support Finance team and site management with other reasonable duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience of working within a finance background.
* Knowledge of SAP.
* Strong proficiency in Excel.
* Knowledge of UK Accounting Standards.
* UK AAT or ACCA qualifications desirable, but not essential.
* Willing to learn in a dynamic environment.
