As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a Finance Executive to join our team in Dungannon. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and detail-focused finance professional to play a key role in managing and analysing our financial operations.
The Role
The Finance Executive will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day finance activities, supporting management with accurate financial reporting, and contributing to the overall financial health of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting:
* Assist with preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
* Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
* Budgeting and Forecasting:
* Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets.
* Assist in forecasting financial performance and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
* Accounts Payable and Receivable:
* Assist with the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
* Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
* Tax Compliance:
* Assist with compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of VAT returns.
* Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.
* Financial Audits:
* Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
* Implement recommendations from audit reports to enhance financial processes.
* Financial Systems Management:
* Utilise financial software to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in financial systems.
Qualifications:
* Qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a finance role.
* Good understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and taxation.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Experience with Sage, Xero, online sales platforms such as Shopify, PayPal, Clearpay or Tik Tok whilst not essential, may be an advantage.
