Your Role as a Coach Builder:
As a Coach Builder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet. Your responsibilities will include:
* Prioritizing the safety and comfort of all passengers and road users.
* Conducting repairs that meet DETR and company standards, adhering to all relevant legislation.
* Executing repairs efficiently and economically.
* Holding a valid driving license to test all relevant company vehicles on public roads.
* Maintaining safe working practices and prioritizing the health and safety of all staff.
* Performing all engineering functions related to your job title.
* Minimizing repair costs wherever possible.
* Keeping engineering lost mileage to a minimum through effective repairs.
* Being flexible and willing to work at other locations temporarily, as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
* You should be qualified with prior experience in a PSV vehicle workshop as a body builder/coach maker.
* A motivated team player who can work independently and solve problems using your initiative.
* Safety is our top priority; therefore, induction and development will be provided to ensure our customers' safety is never compromised.
