With continued growth across their East London venue network, they are now seeking a Senior Account Manager to oversee operations and client management for key venue accounts.
About The Role
The Senior Account Manager will take operational ownership across a dedicated East London venue, managing client relationships, event delivery, resourcing, and day-to-day onsite operations. Working closely with the Account Director, you will support the strategic development of the account while ensuring high-quality service and operational standards.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires strong operational oversight, excellent stakeholder communication, and the ability to coordinate internal teams, suppliers, and venue staff. You will be responsible for reviewing briefs, managing bookings, overseeing event operations, and acting as a trusted point of contact for clients throughout the planning and delivery process.
Based onsite at the venue, you will contribute to team leadership, operational improvements, and the ongoing development of a busy, multi-use events space in East London. Flexibility for occasional weekend or evening events is required.
Key Responsibilities Client & Account Management
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients and venue partners, managing the day-to-day running of the account.
* Lead client meetings, site walkthroughs, operational planning sessions, and pre-event briefings.
* Oversee client briefs and operational requirements, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely response.
* Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and venue stakeholders
Operational Leadership
* Lead the planning and delivery of events, ensuring seamless coordination across onsite operations, production teams, logistics, and suppliers.
* Manage operational schedules, budgets, staffing, and resources to maximise efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with venue policies, health & safety standards, and operational procedures.
* Oversee onsite event execution, ensuring high-quality delivery and quick resolution of challenges.
Team Support & Collaboration
* Support the Account Director in leading and mentoring a small onsite operations team.
* Contribute to operational improvements, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and enhance the client experience.
* Provide insight and reporting on account performance and client satisfaction.
About You
* Proven experience as a Senior Account Manager, Senior Project Manager, or Operations Manager within events, exhibitions, or venue operations.
* Strong operational leadership experience with a hands-on approach.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence managing senior stakeholders.
* Highly organised, proactive, and commercially focused, with strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
* Flexible approach to working hours with the ability to support occasional weekend/evening events.
