Job Purpose
The postholder shall provide Estates with in-house technical, design and CAD assistance. Progressing a range of maintenance and development projects with design, detailing and specification input. Maintaining and keep up to date digital record drawing information currently held. Assisting in developing and migration of Estates record information to searchable data and BIM models Responsibilities Create, amend and update all electronic Estates Record information. Produce design, detailing and specification information for development and maintenance projects. Input into visual presentations, graphics and documents as required. Instruct and specifying contracted service, related to the maintenance and development of Estates Records and construction design and specification services, under the direction of the Senior Architec Assist in developing the Estates Records Sharepoint site and migrating the Estates record information to searchable data and BIM models Provide support and technical knowledge on design, architecture, specification, detailing and construction, under supervision of the Senior Architect, to all areas of Estates and SPS Person Specification SPS recruitment and selection practice is based on the fundamentals of our Competencies for Success Framework. Qualification Requirements Degree or HND/C in Architecture or Architectural Technology (equivalent or relevant significant experience working in the role) Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements Design and Specification Expertise: Significant experience in detailing and specifying new build and maintenance projects (preferably Public Sector), with knowledge of Planning, Building Regulations, and RIBA stages. (Essential) Digital Design and BIM Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge and experience of AutoCAD and Revit, with working knowledge of BIM processes for construction and maintenance. (Essential) IT and Visual Communication Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; experience with Photoshop and InDesign is advantageous. Ability to prepare detailed written reports, presentations, and briefing notes. (Essential) Collaboration and Organisational Ability: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships, negotiate and influence within multi-disciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills and organisational capability to prioritise, plan, and deliver outputs under pressure within budgets and timescales.
