 
        
        We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated lawyer to join our legal team. You will provide legal advice and support to the Council and its departments in connection with procurement and commercial contract matters.
Key responsibilities
 * You will be a practising lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive) with a good understanding of contract and procurement law, including disputes.
 * Joining a dedicated and supportive team in Legal Services, you’ll be committed to working efficiently to deliver timely accurate and effective advice.
Required skills and experience
 * Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx).
 * Experience drafting legal documents and giving clear and accurate legal advice, including training.
 * Good communication and interpersonal skills.
