Key Responsibilities of the Plant Engineer:
6. Maintain and repair a wide range of construction plant equipment to a high standard.
7. Diagnose faults, conduct servicing, and carry out repairs in a busy workshop environment.
8. Work with various equipment, including small tools, generators, pumps, diggers, excavators, rollers, telehandlers, and forklifts.
9. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
10. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
Plant Engineer Requirements:
11. Proven mechanical experience in plant maintenance or repair.
12. Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ or City & Guilds in Plant Maintenance or Engineering.
13. Previous experience in roles such as Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, Workshop Engineer, Service Engineer, or Field Service Engineer.
14. Ability to meet tight deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
15. A full UK driving licence is essential (you do not have to own a vehicle)
