We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Sales Executive to join our team. This is an entry-level opportunity for a proactive individual looking to kickstart their career in the marketing industry. You will support our growth by identifying new leads and introducing prospects to our core services, including Web Development, SEO, PPC, and Social Media management.
While you may be new to the field, you should possess a natural flair for communication and a drive to learn the intricacies of digital marketing sales. You will work closely with senior team members to develop your skills, manage the initial stages of the sales funnel, and eventually grow into a full-cycle Sales Executive.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Generation & Prospecting: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries that need marketing support. Use various tools (LinkedIn, cold calling, email) to build a pipeline of fresh opportunities.
* Initial Outreach: Act as the first point of contact for prospects. Qualify leads by understanding their basic business needs and setting up discovery meetings for senior sales staff.
* Support Relationship Management: Assist in maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Learn to identify opportunities for service expansion and ensure client satisfaction through regular check-ins.
* Sales Learning & Development: Actively participate in sales training and stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends. Learn how to position our Web Dev, SEO, and PPC services against competitors.
* Assisting with Proposals: Support the senior team in drafting compelling proposals and presentations. Ensure all client-facing documentation is accurate and aligns with the prospect's requirements.
* Internal Coordination: Liaise between the sales team and the creative/digital departments to gather information needed for pitches and to ensure a smooth handoff once a sale is closed.
* CRM & Activity Tracking: Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities and communications in our CRM. Provide weekly updates on outreach volume and lead progression.
* Brand Ambassadorship: Attend industry events and networking sessions alongside senior team members to learn how to represent the company and generate face-to-face leads.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, hospitality, or office administration) is highly desirable. This is an entry-level role, so a hunger to learn is more important than years of sales experience.
* Meticulous Admin Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills. You will be responsible for keeping our CRM up-to-date and ensuring all client documentation is flawless.
* Communication & Personality: A "bubbly" and outgoing character. You must be comfortable picking up the phone to talk to strangers and building instant rapport with people face-to-face.
* Resilience: A "thick skin" is essential. You should be able to handle rejection with a positive attitude and see every "no" as a step closer to a "yes."
* Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using the Google Suite (Docs & Sheets). Previous experience with a CRM system is a plus, but full training will be provided.
* Relationship Building: A natural ability to listen to client needs and maintain a friendly, professional manner under pressure.
* Proactive Mindset: A self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to do and is eager to hit (and exceed) outreach targets.

Qualification - Apprenticeship in Customer Service (Level 3)
Important Info - Due to the nature of your work, you will be required to work in our Cullompton office. As this is an apprenticeship position, full training will be provided.
