We have a great opportunity to join us as a Workplace Auditor, we are looking for someone who will be responsible for evaluating workplace processes, and environments by observing operating practices to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Day to day you will be conducting audits, identifying risks, recommending improvements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business. As this this role covers a large geographical area you will be site based 3.5 days with 1.5 days travel and admin.

Audit Planning & Execution - Are you someone who can use data analysis, support risk trending as well as develop and execute workplace audit plans in line with business goals and regulatory requirements. Specifically, code of conduct, modern slavery, agency labour, H&S, facilities
Risk Identification & Analysis - Identify potential risks related to workplace operations, employee safety, and legal compliance
Reporting & Documentation - Prepare clear, concise audit reports summarising findings, risks, and recommendations
Continuous Improvement & Compliance Support - Provide guidance and recommendations for improving workplace policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks, we need you to be confident in Root cause analysis (RCA) by uncovering underling reasons why problems occur and support management in the development and implementation of corrective action plans (Corrective and Preventative Actions – CAPA)
Training & Stakeholder Engagement - Point of contact and audit investigative specialist for escalated modern slavery cases across the business, are you someone who can educate colleagues and management on audit processes, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Occupational Health & Safety, Compliance, Risk Management, Human Resources, or a related field (Or experience and time-served in similar roles)
Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) advantageous
Extensive experience in auditing, compliance, workplace safety.
Strong knowledge of legislation and standards in the prevention of modern slavery advantageous
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify process gaps and risks
