Responsibilities:
1. Content Marketing:
2. Developing and maintaining a content calendar aligned with campaign priorities and business goals.
3. Producing thought leadership articles, blogs, and educational content optimised for SEO to increase visibility and engagement.
4. Creating impactful case studies and whitepapers to support lead generation and demonstrate Mercia's value to clients.
5. Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop authoritative, industry-relevant content.
6. Ensuring brand tone of voice and messaging consistency across all written content.
1. Email Marketing:
2. Planning, creating, and executing integrated email campaigns across various customer segments.
3. Developing and managing lifecycle workflows to support client onboarding, retention, cross-sell, and upsell initiatives.
4. Leveraging data-driven insights to segment audiences and deliver personalised email communications.
5. Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics, making recommendations for improvement.
6. Conducting A/B testing on subject lines, content, and design to maximise effectiveness.
1. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
2. Working closely with the wider Marketing team to align activities with overall marketing plans.
3. Collaborating with sales and other departments to support lead generation and customer engagement.
4. Supporting internal communications initiatives to engage employees and align with Mercia's brand strategy.

What We're Looking For: To succeed, you should have:
* Previous experience in a marketing role (B2B, B2C, or agency background welcomed).
* A strong interest in content creation and email marketing.
* Excellent written communication skills for engaging, audience-focused copy.
* Good organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* A proactive, creative approach with confidence to bring new ideas.
It would be beneficial if you also have:
* Knowledge of SEO principles and experience creating optimised content.
* Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp).
* Familiarity with analysing campaign data and applying insights for improvement.
