Senior Associate – Litigation

A dynamic and growing law firm is seeking a commercially minded Senior Associate – Litigation to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor to manage complex, high-value litigation matters while contributing to the strategic growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a caseload of complex and high-value litigation matters from inception to resolution.
* Provide strategic legal advice to clients on contentious issues across various industries.
* Represent clients in court proceedings (High Court, County Court) and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes such as mediation and arbitration.
* Supervise and mentor junior team members and trainees.
* Work closely with partners and clients to develop litigation strategies aligned with commercial objectives.
* Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
* Maintain excellent client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
Skills & Experience
* Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 8–10+ years PQE in litigation.
* Proven track record managing complex commercial litigation cases.
* Strong advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills.
* Excellent understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and litigation tactics.
* Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively across departments.
* Commercially aware with the ability to understand clients’ business drivers.
* Experience in a top-tier law firm or reputable in-house legal team is desirable.
