Working alongside cross-functional teams, you will ensure that demand plans are reflected in SAP to drive forecast accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess, analyse and track forecasts received from distribution partners and bottlers to ensure MRP and supply planning are driven by the latest demand information.Regularly check for slow-moving and obsolete finished good risks, report and follow up by closely working with other functional teamsProactively identify, communicate and follow up on significant trends and demand changes to achieve optimum finished goods and kit inventory holding within the networkMaintain forecast demand within SAP so the system holds the latest details and supports operational plansBuild good work relationships with bottlers, distribution partners, commercial and other cross-functional team membersSupport the development and implementation of improved forecasting & demand planning software & S&OP processClosely work with new product development team to support new product launch plans and timelinesLead the demand review meeting and Support S&OP Manager in holding the different meetings of the S&OP processYour profile2+ years of experience in Demand Planning, ideally within the FMCG space however alternative industry experience will be consideredAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslySAP APO Experience highly desirableStrong people and communication skillsAble to adapt and thrive in an entrepreneurial and rapidly changing environmentStrong sense of urgency and of responsibilityMust be a team player and demonstrate successful experience working in a cross-functional international team environmentPerform well under pressureStrong understanding of S&OP processes and demand planning factors modelAbility to work independently, achieving goals and deadlinesIf you’re a results-focused individual with high energy and passion who demonstrates high commitment and dedication to your personal performance, then we’d love to hear from you!Get in touch with Nathan at the Advocate Group or ‘Apply Now’ to be considered for this position.We look forward to receiving your application for this exciting new vacancy!The Advocate Group is a leading recruitment partner, based in the UK, to the FMCG and consumer product sectors.
