About the Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work directly with students to support their learning, behaviour, and personal development. Responsibilities: Support students with their learning and engagement during lessons. Assist with behaviour management and help maintain a positive classroom environment. Implement personalised learning plans and interventions under teacher guidance. Support students with personal care, hygiene, and eating where necessary. Encourage independence, confidence, and social interaction among students. Maintain accurate records of student progress and development. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external professionals. Qualifications: Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with additional needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, compassion, and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of students. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
