Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Corsham for a Control Room Shift Engineer working 12 hour shifts. The Control Room Shift Engineer will work directly with Ark's key suppliers and Service Desk ensuring that maintenance processes are completed successfully and that incidents are correctly communicated and escalated to Ark and its customers.
The engineer will monitor and interrogate Ark's BMS and EMS systems and will work closely with the site's operations teams to resolve issues and perform preventative maintenance to ensure uptime and efficiency of each data centre.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and interrogate BMS and EMS systems
* Coordinate with site operations teams to resolve issues
* Perform preventative maintenance to ensure uptime and efficiency of data centres
* Ensure maintenance processes are completed successfully
* Communicate and escalate incidents to Ark and its customers as required
Qualifications
* Experience with BMS, EMS and control systems
* Knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering principles and practices
* Experience with CAFM & IWMS
* Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* A recognised level 3 or above trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services
