Job Title: Caster - Aluminium Foundry.
Hours: Mon–Wed 6am–4pm, Thu 6am–2pm, Fri–Sun Off
Join our manufacturing facility as a Caster and work hands on with molten metal to produce high-quality castings and ingots. You'll operate tilt controlled furnaces, monitor quality standards, and enjoy a 4 day work week with long weekends off
Role:
* Prepare and operate tilt furnaces, ensuring accurate and efficient metal pouring.
* Monitor and regulate molten metal flow using ladles or tilt furnaces to produce high-quality ingots and castings.
* Adjust equipment controls and maintain correct temperatures to meet production specifications.
* Inspect and prepare moulds, ensuring they are clean, smooth, and properly coated.
* Skim impurities and ensure molten metal meets quality standards.
* Safely remove castings from moulds using appropriate tools, cranes, or hoists.
* Transport finished castings to storage areas using forklifts.
* Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, quality checks, and operational efficiency.
* Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times.
Person Specifications:
* A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
* Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Good communication skills and fluency in English (essential).
* A focus on meeting production targets while upholding quality and safety standards.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous
