Commercial Waste Business Development Officer

Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Manage a busy caseload, prioritise own workload, and work effectively as part of a team.
* Serve as a confident and experienced communicator dealing with the public and contractors.
* Perform sales activities, ideally in waste contract management, and negotiate contract terms to meet client needs and Council objectives.
* Apply knowledge of the local business landscape and commercial waste regulations.
* Negotiate service agreements and pricing structures.
* Use Microsoft ICT systems including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Demonstrate a customer‑focused approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for the environment.
