About the Role

Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
* Preparing pupils for Key Stage 2 SATs examinations
* Monitoring and assessing pupil progress through regular testing and feedback
* Delivering targeted interventions to support pupil attainment
* Creating a positive, focused, and supportive classroom environment
* Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff
* Building strong relationships with parents and carers
* Supporting transition activities to secondary school
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
* Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Have experience teaching in upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
* Have experience preparing pupils for SATs assessments
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
* Be organised, resilient, and committed to high standards
* Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
