About Our Client
My client is a leading Facilities Management organisation based in Tamworth, seeking an experienced ER Advisor to join the HR team on a permanent basis.
Job Description
As Employee Relations Advisor, you will be responsible for the following:
3. Responsible for managing a case load of various complex ER issues using your knowledge in ER and employment law
4. Managing multiple complex ER cases using and updating the case management system effectively, from receipt of a case through to its conclusion
5. You will deliver a quality service remotely, by given our customers across the UK and Europe a positive and supporting experience as possible by being professional, approachable and empathetic
6. Conduct ER policy and process reviews and make recommendations for improvement
7. Collaborate with Senior Stakeholders including HR Business Partners, ER Managers and Head of ER for referral of high risk ER cases
The Successful Applicant
The successful Employee Relations Advisor will have the following experience:
8. Employee Relations knowledge and experience is essential
9. CIPD qualified desirable but not essential
10. Shared service centre experience preferable
11. Proficient IT skills including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
12. An understanding of HR systems would be an advantage
13. Up to date working knowledge of current employment law
14. HR advisory experience, with a good working knowledge of theory and best practice
15. Experience or working in a unionised environment preferable
16. Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality
