We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ballykelly.
Job Details
* Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
* Reporting to: Head of Engineering
* Business / Division: Power
* Location: Ballykelly
* Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
* Salary: Competitive, Negotiable depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop LV switchgear solutions in line with project and client requirements
* Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and associated documentation using EPLAN and AutoCAD
* Interpret client single line diagrams and specification documents into manufacturable designs
* Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated solutions
* Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with IEC standards and company procedures
* Liaise with clients, provide markups, and implement modifications where required
* Contribute to process improvements within the electrical design team
What We\'re Looking For
* Essential
* An electrical/electronic engineering qualification
* Proficiency with EPLAN or equivalent electrical design software
* Experience with AutoCAD 2D
* Desired
* Previous experience in switchgear or LV/MV electrical design
* Understanding of IEC 61439 and related standards
* Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
