Job summary
It is an exciting time to join the Haemoglobinopathy team at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust as we look forward to moving to the ultra modern Midland Metropolitan University Hospital this autumn, and for the first time we are looking at an integrated community and hospital Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Service.
The team are looking for a friendly and dynamic nurse to join the team in a liaison nurse role, an integral part in facilitating the transition between paediatric services, but increasingly bridging the gap between hospital and home too. You will need to have excellent communication skills, and be competent in venepuncture, cannulation and the use of CVADs. Teaching, counselling or prescribing qualifications are desirable but a willingness to develop is essential. We look forward to working with you and helping you to fulfil your potential both professionally and academically.
