Job Title: Rehabilitation Assistant (Support Worker)
Location: Nottingham (NG19)
Salary: £12.60 - £12.87 per hour (Depending on Qualification & Experience)
Job Type: Permanent - Full Time
Work Schedule: Office-Based
Hours of Work: Days, Nights & Weekends; 35 hours per week (07:30am - 2:30pm, 2:30pm - 9:30pm, and 9:30pm - 7:30am across 7 days)
Start Date: Immediate, subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS check
Responsibilities
* Ensure Service Users are at the heart of care delivery and that their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
* Contribute to the efficient running of the service
* Support Service Users to maintain relationships and connections with the local community
* Follow Care Plans and other information about how to support Service Users
* Inform the Team Leader/Nurse of any changes in the needs of Service Users
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of those individuals supported
* Adhere to Infection Control Policy and Procedures and keep up to date with Infection Control Training
* Develop effective working relationships with other employees within the client site
* Work with multi-disciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for Service Users
* Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
* Have good knowledge of, and work within, the Fundamental Standards
* Understand the regulatory framework that governs the service, including the role of CQC and their requirements
* Commit to achieving relevant qualifications commensurate with the role
* Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by management
* Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to the role
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum 1-2 years' work experience in the UK healthcare sector as a support worker with mental health, challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and autism in an adult service – Essential
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
* Good leadership skills
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills
* NVQ or RFQ qualification in Social Care – Preferable
