ABOUT THE ROLE Due to internal growth, we are now hiring for our next Deli Team Leader at our Cotswolds farmshop. Owning one of the highest traffic areas of the farmshop and a key focal area for Daylesford's food offering. You will use your people skills and experience to ensure the highest quality service is maintained and delivered to our customers. RESPONSIBILITIES Live the farm' when conversing with guests Enthusiastically showcase your knowledge and passion for our deli counter. Ensure every guest receives warm, efficient, and attentive service Bring our purpose to life by driving meaningful social and environmental improvements, contributing to our journey as a B Corp, and aligning with our sustainability vision. Inspire and empower our customers, suppliers, and partners to live and work more consciously, creating a lasting positive impact on the world. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of organic, seasonal, and artisan produce, with the ability to educate and advise customers. Team Leadership: Ability to motivate, train, and manage a small team to deliver excellent service and maintain high standards. Food Preparation & Presentation: Skilled in preparing deli items (e.g., cheeses, charcuterie, salads) with attention to quality and visual appeal. Customer Service Excellence: Friendly, approachable, and confident in handling customer inquiries, tastings, and complaints professionally. Stock & Compliance Management: Experience in managing stock rotation, ordering, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
