Damp & Mould Decorator\nLocation: Westminster\nPay: £34,000 - £37,000 per annum (depending on experience and knowledge)\n\nThe Opportunity:\n\nWe are seeking a skilled Damp & Mould Decorator to join our Westminster social housing contract on a permanent, full-time basis (Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected, forward-thinking company that values customer service and community care.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCarry out damp and mould treatment works within both occupied and void social housing properties.\n\nDiagnose causes of damp, condensation, and mould, and implement suitable remedial actions.\n\nApply antifungal washes, specialist paints, and treatments in line with specifications.\n\nUndertake minor plastering, decorating, and other repair works following damp treatments.\n\nMaintain high standards of workmanship while adhering to health and safety regulations.\n\nEnsure all work is completed accurately, on time, and in a resident-friendly manner.\n\nAccurately complete job sheets and communicate updates with supervisors as needed.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n\nProven experience in damp and mould treatment and general property maintenance.\n\nRelevant trade qualification: City & Guilds Craft or Level 2 NVQ in a relevant trade (e.g., tiling, plastering, painting).\n\nCSCS Card - Blue or working towards.\n\nStrong health and safety awareness in domestic/social housing environments.\n\nExperience working in both occupied and void properties.\n\nGood knowledge of common damp treatments and related repair methods.\n\nExcellent customer service skills and professional attitude.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nFull UK or automatic driving licence (held for a minimum of 12 months).\n\nCompany Benefits:\n\nCompany van provided (for work use only).\n\nProfit Share Discretionary Annual Bonus Scheme.\n\n26 days holiday + Bank Holidays.\n\nEnhanced pension contribution scheme.\n\nHealthcare Cash Plan (including 24hr GP, dental, optical, physiotherapy, and more).\n\nIf you believe your skills and experience match this opportunity, please attach your CV below to apply\n\nRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
