About the Multi-Trade Roofer Role Responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of high quality multi skilled tasks and activities supporting the domestic electrical installations of solar PV, battery storage systems and high heat retention storage heaters ensuring achievement of service excellence and legislative standards. Key Responsibilities: To undertake the effective and efficient Installation of solar PV systems on residential properties, including panels and mounting systems. To ensure work is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with relevant risk assessments and to a high standard of workmanship. To ensure that site plant and equipment is operated in a safe manner always adhering to the Health & Safety Requirements. To ensure the site is kept in a tidy condition and that waste management is handled in accordance with permits and all other associated legal and environmental requirements. To take personal responsibility for your own Health, Safety and Welfare and that of colleagues and Customers. To ensure that IT Security and Data Protection Legislation is always adhered to. To undertake any other duties as required by the company from time to time, if these duties are of a greater level of responsibility or skill that those required in the post, then full training and appropriate supervision will be provided. Multi-Trade Roofer Job Requirements: Proven experience in roofing and solar panel installations – ideally within social housing, property maintenance, or a similar environment. Competent in a range of repair, maintenance, and installation techniques for pitched and flat roofs. Ability to work diligently both independently and as part of a team Ability to work with plans / detailed drawings Confident in decision making and problem solving, numeracy skills and good knowledge of basic Health & Safety measures Full UK driving licence is required.
