Consultant Community Paediatrician (8 PAs)
Overview
We are looking for a Consultant to join the Community Paediatrics team at Nottingham Children’s Hospital, working within the Community Paediatric service based in Greater Nottinghamshire.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical care in six geographical patches and the Child Development Centre, supporting Children in Care.
* Contribute to the daytime safeguarding rota/clinics for suspected non-accidental injuries.
* Lead and support district-wide community paediatric clinics, joint clinics with allied health professionals, and referrals from primary care.
* Collaborate with education services and the Child and Adolescent Mental Health team.
* Engage in quality improvement projects and research opportunities.
Required Qualifications
* Registered on the GMC specialist register or within 6 months of expected date of CCT at the time of interview.
* Demonstrated experience in community paediatrics or a related field.
* Strong clinical skills and ability to manage a multidisciplinary team.
Employment Details
* Monday to Friday working pattern.
* Full or part‑time positions available.
* No on‑call duties.
