The Package Engineer Role
As a key member of our project team, reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will:
* Oversee the design, coordination, and management of various subcontractors across multiple trades.
* Interface with internal departments and external agencies, including Architects, Engineers, and Site Staff.
* Ensure that SRM's obligations to subcontractors are clearly understood and met.
* Organize and conduct regular site progress meetings to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
* Keep the Chief Engineer and Project Manager updated on all project issues.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a focus on setting out who ideally:
* Holds a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Can prepare a 3-week look-ahead program with the assistance of a project planner.
* Has proven experience in package management.
* Possesses experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator (a plus!).
* Is knowledgeable about building products, construction details, and relevant regulations.
* Is working towards a construction industry-related professional membership (e.g., ICE, CIOB, RICS, etc.).
