Skilled Production Technician
* £31.16 per hour via Umbrella | Initial 5-month contract (potential to go permanent)
* 37-hour week | On-site role working on cutting-edge aerospace technology
* Work on next-generation HAPS aircraft systems and advanced UAV platforms
* BPSS clearance required prior to start
ABOUT THE CLIENT

With ambitious growth plans and ground breaking projects underway, they are looking for a Skilled Production Technician to support the manufacture and integration of advanced aircraft systems.
SKILLED PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN ROLE:
As an Avionics Technician, you will support the manufacture and integration of avionics and mechanical systems for advanced UAV platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
* Installation of avionic and mechanical components, including wiring and system integration
* Manufacturing of in-house avionics components
* Maintaining accurate build records and documentation
* Supporting system testing and integration activities
* Contributing to continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality standards
* Handling delicate and high-value components with care
SKILLED PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
* Hands-on experience as an avionic/electronic engineering technician
* Strong experience in avionics assembly, wiring, and system integration
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
* Proven problem-solving and fault-finding ability
* Experience working to high-quality manufacturing or maintenance standards
* Strong attention to detail and organised working approach
* Experience conducting and recording installation and system tests
