Our Client is growing fast and seeking a proactive, resilient Supplier Liaison to strengthen the link between suppliers and the sales team. Based in Sunderland, this role is all about communication, organisation, and driving collaboration. As Supplier Liaison, you'll be the key contact for maintaining strong day-to-day relationships with suppliers, keeping pricing and market information up to date, and ensuring the sales team has the insight and support they need to perform. You'll monitor market activity, communicate changes quickly, and help the business stay ahead through confident negotiation and effective coordination. The Role Act as the main point of contact between suppliers and internal teams. Build and maintain strong, professional supplier relationships. Handle queries, updates, and communications with clarity and efficiency. Ensure accurate and timely flow of information to the outbound sales team. Provide the sales team with supplier updates, insights, and guidance. Share market intelligence to shape pricing, sales strategies, and supplier positioning. Track and communicate pricing changes promptly. Identify and escalate supplier or market changes that may impact the business. Work with suppliers to secure competitive rates and added value. Negotiate confidently while building trust and driving business value. Ensure all supplier processes and communications comply with internal policies and industry regulations.
