About the Role – Mash Deputy Team Manager
As a Mash Deputy Team Manager, you will provide vital leadership within our MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub), ensuring effective assessment, intervention, and safeguarding for vulnerable children. Your extensive experience as a child protection social worker, particularly within Front Door/MASH services or Duty & Assessment teams, will enable you to support and guide your team effectively. You will be confident in identifying and responding to risk and harmful behaviour and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the voice of the child.
Candidate Responsibilities – Mash Deputy Team Manager
Lead and supervise a team of social workers and practitioners within the MASH environment
Make safe, robust, and timely decisions regarding child safeguarding matters
Prioritize workloads and manage multiple cases efficiently
Promote innovative, evidence-based approaches to safeguarding within an anti-discriminatory framework
Ensure all interventions meet legislative requirements and best practice standards
Support the team through induction, mentoring, and ongoing professional development
Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and respect in all activities

pay rate 29.48 PAYE exclusive of holiday pay or 38LTD inclusive of holiday pay
