What you will do
* Perform all aspects of routine histopathology lab duties, focusing on microtomy sectioning including standard, mega, singles, levels, and cores.
* Conduct routine H&E staining using the Leica Spectra.
* Embed all types of histology specimens as outlined above.
* Pass an in‑house UKAS standard competency assessment within 2 days of starting in the lab.
* Operate existing lab equipment, all provided by Leica, with minimal training.
* Drive to work on‑site as required; being a car driver is essential.
* Ensure HCPC registration is maintained to meet professional standards.
