The Post Holder will join the Arcadis Asset Optimization Practice, a team of professional consultants providing strategic and technical advice to a diverse range of clients across the public and private sectors. The overarching goal is to align clients' property portfolios with organizational objectives, transforming property from a necessary expense to a strategic asset. We support clients such as:
* Central Government Departments, Local Authorities, Defence, Education, and Health
* SPVs, Lenders/Funders, Service Providers, and Contracting organizations
* Financial Institutions, Conglomerates, Consumer Goods, Developers, Housing, Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, and Infrastructure
Role Accountabilities
Areas of Service Delivery
You will provide leadership in areas including:
* PFI advisory including handback
* Property Asset Management
* Portfolio Mapping & Strategy
* FM Strategic Advisory
* Life Cycle & Backlog Modelling
* TOTEX Optimization
* Whole Life Costing
* Benchmarking
* Compliance Reviews & Audits
* Champion innovation, digital tools, and sustainability-led asset strategies
The role involves leading consultancy projects across the full spectrum of Asset Optimization services, including:
* Strategic Reviews
* Target Operating Model Design
* Supply Chain & Procurement
* Benchmarking & Value for Money Reviews
* Performance Reviews
* Audits, Compliance, Controls, Assurance, and Governance
* Data analytics and modeling, including cost estimation and feasibility studies
* Contract support and reviews, including PFIs
* Leading client relationships
* Business development and proposal writing
* Mentoring junior team members
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in property-focused consultancy or equivalent
* Significant experience with public sector clients such as health, education, and local authorities, as well as private sector experience
* Degree-qualified property professional or full membership of IWFM, RICS, or similar organization
* Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing major programs
