About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Service Apprentice to join our Social Housing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to launch their career in customer service and administration while gaining valuable hands-on experience within a specialist industry.
You will provide vital administrative support to the Housing division, focusing specifically on delivering a high standard of customer service. Working closely with the Social Housing Senior Manager, you will learn how to manage daily operations and maintain positive relationships with residents and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support Resident Communication: Assist operations teams with direct contact with residents, acting as a professional and helpful point of contact
Scheduling & Coordination: Book and schedule work appointments with residents, ensuring they understand the work timeframes and their responsibilities
Data & Reporting: Handle daily reporting tasks and update dashboards to ensure all project information is accurate and current
Documentation Management: Manage team inboxes and ensure all documentation is distributed to the correct departments or filed accordingly
Enquiry Handling: Assist with processing sales enquiries, tenders, and surveys to support the growth of the division
Administrative Support: Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Social Housing department
Process Improvement: Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify ways to improve team efficiency and service standards
Requirements
What We're Looking For
No previous experience is required: comprehensive training will be provided
Good basic IT skills and a willingness to learn new software and reporting systems
Strong communication skills and a polite, professional telephone manner
Attention to detail and a desire to maintain high levels of accuracy in your work
A positive attitude toward teamwork and a passion for helping others
Ability to use your initiative and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
