Main Purpose of the Role:
The Attachment Salesperson will be responsible for promoting, demonstrating and selling the full range of JCB and allied attachment products to both new and existing customers across the dealership territory.
This is a field‑based, customer‑facing sales role focused on developing strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities, increasing attachment revenue and delivering tailored attachment solutions that maximise customer productivity and machine performance.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Machine Sales, Service and Parts teams alongside JCB and external suppliers to deliver an excellent customer experience and drive profitable growth.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively promote and sell the full range of JCB and allied attachment products.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with new and existing customers.
* Identify customer requirements and provide suitable attachment solutions based on application and operational needs.
* Generate new business opportunities across construction, industrial, waste, recycling and related sectors.
* Prepare quotations, proposals and sales documentation in a timely and professional manner.
* Demonstrate attachment equipment on customer sites where required.
* Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source specialist or bespoke attachment solutions.
* Work collaboratively with Machine Sales Engineers to maximise machine and attachment package opportunities.
* Manage attachment orders from quotation through to delivery and installation.
* Support the coordination of attachment stock and inventory where required.
* Ensure accurate completion of all sales administration and CRM activity.
* Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales process and aftersales journey.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements within the territory.
* Support marketing activity including product campaigns, demonstrations, exhibitions, social media content and open days.
* Ensure all company equipment, vehicles and customer interactions are conducted professionally and safely.
* Achieve agreed sales targets and profitability objectives.
* Maintain excellent levels of customer service at all times.
* Ensure compliance with all Company Health & Safety procedures and policies.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties associated with the role.
Experience
* Previous experience within a sales, plant, construction, agricultural, engineering or machinery‑related environment.
* Strong customer relationship and account management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage territory activity effectively.
* Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills.
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Professional, enthusiastic and customer‑focused approach.
