We are the drivers of change.n#LI-HybridThis is the jobWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Category Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in delivering the Group Procurement strategy, ensuring that our business maximises value from third-party spend, including cost reduction, working capital benefits, revenue generation, and service delivery. The successful candidate will manage procurement across the Roadside Operations category, including fleet operations, mobility services, and garaging networks.What will I be doing?nDevelop and implement a Strategic Spend Management agenda with the Head of Procurement.nLead sourcing strategy, selection, contract negotiation, and execution for the business area.nManage Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for key strategic vendors.nBuild strategic relationships with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify value opportunities.nLeverage and maintain Management Information (MI) and reporting data using SAP Ariba.nChampion Procurement Policy and guidelines to ensure compliance across functions.nWhat do I need?nExperience working within the Fleet/Automotive/Vehicle Manufacturing sector with a strong understanding industry processes and standards.nStrong experience in procurement processes, full life cycle sourcing, and category management.nProven track record of managing supplier relationships and outcomes.nProficiency in SAP Ariba, Power BI, and Excel.nStrong communication skills for negotiating contracts and managing stakeholders.nAbility to understand and challenge budgets and financial reporting.nAutonomous, detail-oriented, and high emotional intelligence.nAdditional informationWe’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
