Lancaster University is initiating an ambitious programme to implement a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. This multi-year strategic initiative is reshaping the design, delivery, and management of undergraduate and postgraduate education to ensure a distinctive, inclusive, and future‑ready offering. The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of a complex, high‑impact digital and systems change in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
Information System Services (ISS) is looking for a Solutions Architect to take on a crucial role in this significant programme. You will be a member of the Architecture team within ISS and will be involved in the development of architectures and standards for our enterprise solutions. The role will involve working with a range of academic and professional individuals including the Head of Architecture and the Infrastructure Architect. This is a fixed term role until 31st July 2027.
What you will need
* In-depth knowledge of Architecture frameworks, principles, and best practices, with the ability to produce clear and concise architectural documentation.
* Proven experience in a solutions architecture role in a complex organisation designing and implementing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce.
* Experience of identifying technical and business challenges, and of proposing innovative solutions to address them.
