As an Electrician at Hilton Belfast, You Will:
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to electrical breakdowns efficiently.
Install, inspect, test, and commission electrical systems, wiring, outlets, lighting, and controls.
Rapidly troubleshoot faults and perform corrective repairs to minimise operational downtime.
Collaborate with other trades and departments to maintain a high quality and safe guest environment.
Ensure all work complies with UK electrical safety regulations, hotel policies, and Health & Safety standards.
Maintain logs, work orders, and maintenance records accurately using digital systems.
Be responsive to ad-hoc maintenance requests across all hotel facilities.
Represent the Hilton brand with professionalism when interacting with colleagues, contractors, or guests.
What Are We Looking For?
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
A recognised qualification in electrical installation (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Proven experience in commercial or hospitality environments.
A sound understanding of electrical systems, diagnostics, and regulatory standards.
The ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
A proactive approach and commitment to high standards of workmanship and safety.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience working in hotel or large building operations.
Familiarity with additional trades (e.g., HVAC, basic plumbing, or general maintenance).
You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
