KS2 Teaching Assistant – January 2026 Start

Start Date: January 2026
We are recruiting a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant for a vibrant primary school in Bradford, starting in January. This role is perfect for someone confident supporting Key Stage 2 learners as they prepare for upper primary expectations and build independence.
Role responsibilities:
1. Supporting pupils in Year 3–6 with literacy, numeracy and topic work
2. Helping deliver interventions and catch-up sessions
3. Providing classroom support, including behaviour management and organisation
4. Encouraging pupils to stay motivated, resilient and engaged in learning
What we’re looking for:
5. Experience working with KS2 pupils or upper primary
6. Strong curriculum knowledge across English and maths
7. Confident, calm and able to support a range of learning needs
8. A positive role model who can inspire and motivate older primary children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
