Job Purpose/Objectives
To maintain and increase revenue in the territory by developing a sales pipeline and building relationships with existing and prospective clients, aiming to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop trading relationships with current clients and new prospects to drive sales growth.
2. Maintain CRM platform accuracy regarding client activities.
3. Respond promptly to sales leads across the business.
4. Meet or exceed appointment and meeting targets aligned with KPIs.
5. Achieve sales targets within pricing guidelines.
6. Negotiate contracts with new clients within set parameters.
7. Provide regular updates and forecasts on pipeline and projects to the Regional Sales Manager.
Person Specification
Education, Knowledge, and Experience
* Proven sales experience with influencing and negotiation skills.
* Understanding of crane hire and the market is advantageous but not essential.
* High achiever with career ambition and goal-oriented.
* Educated to A-Level or equivalent.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
* Construction sector experience is desirable.
Skills and Abilities
* Ability to write effective proposals and reports.
* Deliver value-added presentations to clients.
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* Understanding of the sales process and closing techniques.
* Customer-focused with a good grasp of customer relationships and business processes.
* Data analysis and problem-solving skills; PC literate.
* Ability to work under pressure, self-motivated, and deadline-oriented.
* Ability to understand customer needs and execute tasks effectively.
