Our client in Eastbourne is looking to recruit an interim Accounts Assistant for a period of 6 months.
Your new role
You will be reporting to the Accounts Supervisor and be responsible for processing supplier invoices, managing payment runs, reconciling supplier statements, raising and allocating customer invoices, monitoring aged debt, and responding to both supplier and customer queries. You will also be responsible for completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, assisting with month end tasks, and maintaining accurate financial records.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation processes, with proficiency with accounting software and Excel, along with excellent communication skills. Our client is looking for someone proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive finance team.
What you'll get in return
This is a 6-month temporary assignment for 6 months, initially office-based for training, but will then move to hybrid, 2 days in the office, 3 remote.
