We operate throughout the UK from six strategic locations – Crewe, Bristol, Eastleigh, Cambridge, Tyne Yard and Scarborough. Arriva TrainCare is part of Arriva, you’ll be part of a professional team with these core behaviours at heart; We care passionately We do the right thing We make the difference The Role Based at the Crewe depot you will work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, this is a varied role where you will operate the fuel point and CET plant to deliver the highest possible performance. What You’ll Do Carry out tasks to deliver customer requirements, in accordance with laid down operating instructions, ensuring compliance at all times. To include: Fuelling of traction units. Filling toilet water tanks and emptying effluent tanks. Filling wholesome water tanks Replenishment of coolants, oils, sanding systems and screenwash Topping up of other ontrain systems, as instructed by your Team Leader Ensure efficient throughput of vehicles to enable smooth and safe operation of the depot. Carry out Maintenance Activities to documented instructions (VMI) Where necessary training and competency requirements have been met, operate plant and equipment as required to meet the needs of the business. Ensure all documentation / paperwork issued relating to the work being carried out is correctly and fully completed. Carry out Environmental and Chlorination tasks. What You Bring Knowledge – ability to understand health and safety standards, understanding of machinal and engineering.
