Join to apply for the Chemotherapy Nurse role at Sciensus.
Based in Bedford with travel throughout a regional area, delivering specialist treatment in the patient’s own home and providing holistic one-to-one care.
Responsibilities
* Administer a range of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments, as defined in the patient’s care plan.
* Maintain professional standards and be an ambassador for patient-focused care tailored to each patient’s needs.
* Document all clinical data accurately and report adverse drug events via the correct protocol.
* Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with patients, carers and stakeholders to aid and support treatment and recovery.
* Travel to visit patients at home; a full UK driving licence is essential.
Qualifications
* Registered general nurse
* Qualified in administering cytotoxic drugs
* Cannulate and have experience undertaking clinical assessments
* Community nursing experience would be an advantage
* Full UK driving licence essential
