About the Role
We are seeking a confident and hands‑on Depot Shift Manager to lead operations at a busy Supply Chain Centre in Cambuslang.
You will take full responsibility for Production, Warehouse, and Transport operations during your shift, ensuring the site runs safely, efficiently, and meets all daily targets.
This is a key leadership role where you will support teams, resolve operational issues, and ensure the smooth and timely delivery of products to stores.
Shift Pattern
Rotating 3‑week shift pattern:
* Week 1: Monday AM, Tuesday AM, Wednesday Rest, Thursday Rest, Friday PM, Saturday Rest, Sunday PM
* Week 2: Monday PM, Tuesday PM, Wednesday PM, Thursday PM, Friday Rest, Saturday Rest, Sunday Rest
* Week 3: Monday Rest, Tuesday Rest, Wednesday AM, Thursday AM, Friday AM, Saturday AM, Sunday Rest
Key Responsibilities
* Shift Operations: Lead Production, Warehouse, and Transport performance during shift. Ensure daily KPIs, targets, and service levels are achieved. Make effective operational decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
* Production & Warehouse: Oversee production efficiency, quality, and output performance. Manage goods in, picking, loading, and dispatch processes. Improve accuracy and reduce operational errors.
* Transport: Manage driver rotas and delivery schedules. Ensure compliance with transport legislation and tachograph regulations. Support use of systems including Paragon, Flexipod, and TruTac.
* Team Leadership: Lead, support, and develop Team Leaders and colleagues. Provide hands‑on operational support where required. Promote training, development, and performance improvement.
* Compliance & Systems: Ensure correct use of ERP systems (AX / D365). Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Data Protection regulations.
What We Are Looking For
* Essential:
o Experience in logistics, warehouse, production, or FMCG environments.
o Strong leadership and team management skills.
o Ability to work in a fast‑paced, KPI‑driven operation.
o Confident decision‑making under pressure.
* Desirable:
o Experience with ERP systems (AX / D365 or similar).
o Knowledge of transport compliance and driver regulations.
o Experience in food manufacturing or multi‑temperature environments.
