As our Supplier Pricing Analyst, you’ll dive deep into supplier cost prices, turning complex data into clear insights that drive smarter negotiations and stronger supplier relationships. You’ll be the analytical powerhouse supporting our buying managers to secure the best commercial deals and keep DD ahead in a competitive dental market. Your impact: what you’ll own Analyse and validate supplier cost price increase proposals using market data and inflation trends. Monitor raw material and commodity price movements to anticipate supplier cost shifts. Equip buying managers with data-driven evidence to negotiate better supplier terms. Identify opportunities for supplier cost reductions backed by robust analysis. Maintain and improve pricing models and databases for efficient reporting and insights. Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for commercial teams. Collaborate closely with Procurement, Finance, and Pricing teams to ensure accuracy and alignment. Why this role is crucial: You will be the critical link between raw data and commercial decisions - helping DD secure competitive pricing while maintaining strong supplier partnerships and margin health. What makes you a great fit: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data visualisation). Strong analytical mindset with a knack for spotting patterns and trends. Ability to interpret economic and market data into commercial insights. Clear and persuasive communicator, comfortable influencing across teams. Experience with ERP or BI tools (SAP, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. Proven experience in pricing, procurement analysis, or supply chain support roles. Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or similar advantageous but not essential.
