Organisation
Studios Administrator and Buildings Manager
36 Lime Street is a registered charity (No. 1200138). We provide secure, affordable studio spaces for creative artists and seek to increase wider participation in the arts. In doing so, we contribute towards the regeneration of the building and our local area.
We are seeking to employ a Studios Manager/Administrator to work closely with our Board of Trustees our studio member and the members working groups.
The Studios Manager/Administrator is a key role at 36 Lime Street and represents our only paid member of staff. The role is primarily an administrative role, to ensure the smooth day to day running of the organisation. The post-holder will maintain an overview of the organisation’s finances, raising and chasing invoices, attending to bookkeeping (Xero experience is ideal) and minute taking responsibilities. The role includes managing our service and maintenance contracts, maintaining health & safety records, organising maintenance works as required and liaising with contractors as well as issuing and updating leases/subleases. The post is also the main point of call for all internal and external communications, including web-management. As the sole employee you would have to be comfortable working alone, manage your time efficiently and develop good working systems.
We would like to hear from candidates with experience working in 3rd sector or within small charities. We are looking for a highly organised individual, used to working on their own initiative, and who is able to keep an overview of process within developing situations.
We encourage applicants with relevant experience and skills to apply for this role.
