Overview

We have an exciting leadership opportunity where you can truly make a difference!!! We're looking for an experienced and confident Team Manager to lead and inspire a team of colleagues who are supporting individuals with learning and physical disabilities. As TEAM MANAGER you will oversee operations at this service ensuring the focus remains on person centred support based on the needs of each individual and inspire a positive team culture. This is a 10 month, fixed term, full time (37 hour) position, working mainly Monday to Friday 9-5. Due to the specific needs of the individuals we support [and current legal guidance], this role is only open to applicants who are biologically female. As Team Manager, you'll lead a team of Support Workers, working closely to deliver high-quality, person-centred care within our Supported Living service in Neath. This service supports individuals with learning and physical disabilities to be as independent as possible and works with them to develop new skills. The key aim of this service is to promote independence and to build community connections. We strive to ensure they are work towards building new skills and develop new opportunities, therefore this role would support to aid this wherever possible. You'll be responsible for service delivery, compliance, team development, and ensuring the needs of individuals are met with compassion and professionalism. You'll work alongside the Registered Manager to:


Responsibilities

* Deliver services in line with RISCA, Care Inspectorate Wales, and Social Care Wales standards
* Lead recruitment, supervision, development and wellbeing of your teams
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory frameworks
* Manage referrals, rotas, and all aspects of care planning.
* Support individuals with their individual needs.
* Collaborate with families, professionals, and partner organisations
* Use IT systems confidently to manage data, rotas and reporting
* Participate in the on-call rota and support other services as needed


Qualifications

* Proven leadership experience in adult social care
* Strong IT literacy and organisational skills
* Knowledge of HR and recruitment practices (desirable)
* Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
* Understanding of compliance, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks
* QCF/ NVQ in Health & Social Care (and willingness to work towards Level 4)
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
* A flexible, proactive mindset and a passion for making a difference

Salary and Pensions

* Annual salary of £31,354
