Contract Manager
Location: Hybrid – Didsbury, Manchester & On-site (minimum 3 days per week in office)
Salary: up to £55,482
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week, Permanent

The Role
* Oversee the delivery of our Warm Homes programme, ensuring quality, compliance, performance and value for money through effective management of the principal contractor.
* Lead contract management of the Warm Homes programme, ensuring high standards, effective planning and alignment with our five‑year objectives.
* Manage and support the Retrofit Surveyor, Community Engagement Officer and Sustainability Coordinator to achieve targets and budgets while driving improvements in team methods and processes.
* Prepare and submit grant funding bids to the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Play a key role in improving energy performance, reducing carbon emissions and tackling fuel poverty through a fabric‑first approach.
* Contribute to strengthening Southway’s strategic partnership with the GMCA.
Qualifications
* Confident and experienced contracts professional with a strong track record in managing property or asset‑related contracts such as JCT measured term.
* Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle for travel within South Manchester area.
