Accounts Assistant Role
NC Associates are working exclusively with a long-established SME based in Liverpool City Centre to help recruit an Accounts Assistant. As an Accounts Assistant you will be working closely with the Finance Manager, this is a broad transactional role that covers both Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger duties along with supporting with Month/Year End and VAT returns.
Accounts Assistant Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable:
Reconcile items to be invoiced using our in-house system
Produce customer Invoices on Xero
Credit Control, chasing outstanding debt
Reconcile subcontractor invoices with services rendered
Bank reconciliations
Purchase Ledger:
Ensuring all in-house purchases are approved in line with procedures
Post invoices to Xero
Statement Reconciliations
Supporting the Finance Manager with:
Month End Preparation and reports
VAT returns
Year- end reporting
Accounts Assistant Experience Required
Experience – 1-2 years min experience within an account’s role
Someone who can work on there own and as part of a team
Great attention to detail and communication skills
Team Player, confident and articulate
Good knowledge of Excel, Sage or Xero
