Become part of our mission to create a sustainable world and start as soon as possible at our location in Warrington as: Reliability Engineer (f/m/d) What awaits you: We are looking for a Reliability Engineer to enhance our existing engineering team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of our manufacturing processes by stabilising the performance of physical assets, defining and setting standards for the management and care of the assets and installations whilst ensuring optimum levels of availability. The role requires a focus on the short to medium term in order to move and maintain the performance of the plant to one that is proactive, while supporting the day-to-day plant activities to ensure the processes are reliable. The tasks in detail: Support the site engineers to deliver the maintenance and reliability plan for Latchford Ensure correct use and feedback through SAP and other reporting forms to create history and Enact and develop the reliability plan for Latchford Utilise CBM and PdM techniques to improve preventative maintenance Develop the organisation to a greater proactive and forward focused state and utilising tools such as RCA, Pareto, FMEA etc. Develop and use key metrics to measure the reliability performance of the assets Support and deliver OPEX and CAPEX projects Adopt EMRA Fix for Life policy How you convince us: You hold an HNC qualification in Engineering (or equivalent) and enjoy applying your technical knowledge in practice. You bring leadership experience and feel confident guiding, motivating, and supporting others. You have hands-on engineering experience and a genuine passion for solving technical challenges. You are comfortable managing projects, keeping an overview while driving tasks forward in a structured way. You have experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and enjoy identifying and resolving underlying issues to improve processes. The Novelis Latchford plant a suburb of Warrington Cheshire in England employs approximately 200 employees. It is one of Europe’s largest aluminium used beverage cans recycling plants and Europe’s largest closed-loop recycling operation for automotive aluminium rolled products with an annual recycling capacity of up to 195000 tonnes. The plant is an essential part of Novelis’ European production and collaborated with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) to create the first closed-loop system in Europe with a dedicated railway service to efficiently deliver aluminium between Novelis and JLR’s production site in the UK. The Latchford plant is committed to its community in supporting math and science education to local schools as well as sharing the value of safety and works with a local charitable foundation to sponsoring health. In addition Novelis UK supports the program “Every Can Counts” to actively promote can recycling across Europe.
