Sessional Tutor - Economics Reference Number: JR248995 Location: Kaplan International College London Working Pattern: Part Time, 10 hours per week Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract, Until end of June 2026 Number of roles: 4 Salary: £39.72 per hour We are looking to appoint Sessional Tutor (Economics) to join our successful team and provide stimulating, effective teaching to international students preparing to study on undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes at our partner universities. At Kaplan International College London (KIC London), we prepare international students for degrees at seven university partners. This means supporting students through the academic and social transition needed to meet the demands of university life and we’re passionately committed to helping them succeed. What you’ll bring to the role Experience of teaching to post 16 students (a teaching qualification would be an advantage). The ability to plan, deliver and review a range of learning activities that guide and support students to achieve and flourish. The ability to develop and update innovative teaching material that engages all students. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a range of different teams in order to continually improve the student experience. Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure to deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A strong commitment to continuous professional development and a proven track record of using this to enhance the student experience. Demonstrable experience of using technology to inform teaching practice and a willingness to embrace innovations. A Post Graduate qualification but strong first degree or relevant professional experience will be considered.
