As part of One Ummah’s ongoing efforts to empower women, they aim to provide access to swimming lessons in a safe and supportive environment. To support this initiative, they are seeking a female lifeguard or someone willing to undergo lifeguard training. This role is ideal for someone passionate about fitness, swimming, and making a meaningful impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise swimming sessions to ensure the safety of all participants.
* Provide emergency response and first aid when necessary.
* Assist in teaching women of all skill levels, fostering confidence in the water.
* Maintain a welcoming and supportive environment for participants.
* Ensure pool safety rules and hygiene standards are upheld.
Requirements
* For Qualified Lifeguards: Must hold a valid lifeguard certification.
* For Trainees: A strong swimming ability and willingness to complete lifeguard training (training support may be available).
* Passion for working with women from diverse backgrounds.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergencies.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
